Abstract

Abstract— Introduction: The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in the city of Semarang has increased from 122.25 in 2014 to 128.05 in 2015 and began to decline from 2016 to mid2018. Although the MMR dropped in the last 2 years but the number of pregnancies at risk height is still high. This study aims: To elevate high risk pregnancy knowlarge and decrease MMR. Method: An exploratory study with a qualitative approach was applied in this study to identify the high risk factors. Next, the researcher gave a comprehensive management proposal on the case. The researcher conducted in-depth interviews with patients education with pamphlets during a home visit while observing environmental conditions on 29th June 2018. Results: Comprehensive intervention is carried out in the form of education and discussion with patients and families regarding the handling of high-risk maternal childbirth and family planning programs. Conclusion: The Maternal Mortality Rate in Halmahera Health Center is affected by the high risk of pregnant women. This is influenced by the low implementation of ANC and KB, also caused by the implementation of pregnant classes that are less than optimal. Then a comprehensive intervention was carried out with education and discussion.
