Abstract

This research is aimed to reveal the reading competency of projection drawing of mechanical engineering students of Unnes. It is also to test the differences significancy of projection drawing readiiig competeney hetween students of regular PTM, pararrel PTM, and D3 mechanical engineering program study. This research uses survey method. Sample is taken purposively. Data are taken by conducting test and analyzed by using descriptive statistic and one way classification varians analysis. The results show that students' competency are very good. There is difference in competency between students of three program studies. Regular PTM students have higher competency than parrarrel one, and the lowest is D3 students. To increse their competency, Mechanical Engineering Department should realize the need of facilities.
