Abstract

This research aims is to reveal the construct validity of mechanical engineering drawing reading competency test. Empiric test development is used as method. 1000 mechanical engineering of vocational high school students were taken as sample using cluster sampling. Data analyzes using exploratory factor analysis through Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The result shows that all aspects of mechanical engineering drawing reading competency test that is developed have good construct validity. Hence teahers can use the test as a test and evaluation tool of mechanical engineering drawing reading competency. Kata kunci : validitas konstruk, kompetensi, gambar teknik mesin
