Abstract

Research to develop aids to rotate and study the effectiveness of aids in turning exercises to increase the motion of the somersault used in training for junior athletes and senior athletes. The movement, salto and twist training program will also provide an opportunity for the coach or trainer to provide the facilities available to the coaches or trainers due to the obstruction of the exercise training process and the inadequate factors, the gymnastic facilities available. This research uses a model development method using qualitative. The main procedures in research and development consist of six steps, namely: (1) Analyzing the product to be developed (2) Developing the initial product (3) Expert validation (4) Product revision (5) Large-scale trial (6) Product end. The results of this study indicate the development of assistive devices in the artistic gymnastics competition by producing Atlantis products, (1) categorized as good and suitable for use as a tool for the movement of salto twist in artistic gymnastics for junior athletes and senior athletes as evidenced by the results of the trial validity of experts gymnastic equipment shows the number 87% gymnastics expert shows the number 81% involving that found in the validation test the device is still on the seat belt is less stable when making movements (2) can increase the motion of the motion of the salto and salto twist for junior athletes and athletes proven to be proven from the results of filling out the questionnaire by averaging 71% of the questions that met with the participants of the large scale tool trial about the large size and short length 3) the trainers were easy to provide assistance in the flip and twist exercises for junior and senior athletes. Conclusions in the study of Developing a Rotating Aid on Artistic Gymnastics Race Numbers by producing Atlantis products, categorized as good and feasible to be used as aids for the exercise of the twist of artistic gymnastics twist on the Conch Gymnastics Studio Mas Persian PengcabPersaniPemalang Regency. This can be seen from the results of the validation of gymnastics experts, gymnastics equipment experts, and all athletes at the Keong Mas Gymnastics Workshop in PengcabPersaniPemalang Regency.
