Abstract

The results of the observation showed that the availability of learning resources used was still less diverse and did not support the basic competencies achieved. The learning resources used are still limited to textbooks, student worksheets (LKS) and PowerPoint (PPT). Biodiversity in Mount Ungaran is very high which has not been used as a source of learning biology at SMA Negeri 2 Ungaran. The environment around the school has not been used as a learning resource because it does not represent a component of biodiversity. Therefore, Mount Ungaran is a representative place to be used as a learning resource close to schools. This study aims to develop an e-encyclopedia of the biodiversity of Mount Ungaran with attractive, valid, effective images for learning outcomes and has an appropriate level of readability. The research method uses Research and Development with the ADDIE model. The data of this study were analyzed for the characteristics, validity, effectiveness, student response and level of readability using the Fry chart. The results showed: 1) the characteristics of the e-encyclopedia of Biodiversity of Mount Ungaran were factual, arranged systematically so that they could reach KD 3.2 and KD 4.2. 2) The e�encyclopedia of Biodiversity of Mount Ungaran is very valid and feasible to use. 3) Learning resources of the Mount Ungaran Biodiversity e-encyclopedia is effective based on student learning outcomes in the cognitive and psychomotor domains. 4) The e-encyclopedia of Biodiversity of Mount Ungaran has a readability level by using the Fry chart according to the grade level of grade X high school students. 5) Student responses to the e-encyclopedia of Biodiversity of Mount Ungaran developed are in the high category.
