Abstract

The application of Curriculum 2013 emphasizes more on the scientific approach. Scientific approach can be realized by implementing practicum aimed at developing various domains of learning objectives, such as attitude, skill, and knowledge. The aim of this study is to analyze the level of implementation of senior high school biology practicum in Batang Regency, to analyze the factors that influence the implementation of the senior high school biology practicumin Batang Regency and to describe the relationship of each factor to the implementation of the high school biology practicum in Batang Regency.This research was conducted using quantitative research approach with a survey method. The sample was taken by using nonprobability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling, sample of 6 public and private senior high schools.The data about the factors obtained were analyzed using path techniques and correlation analysis.Based on the research results, the level or quality of the implementation of the SMA biology practicum in Batang Regency is in a good category. The factors that influence the implementation of the biology laboratory include: the readiness of human resources, the availability of facilities and infrastructure, implementation factors and curriculum factors.Based on the results of the path analysis, it shows that there is a correlational relationship between factors that affect the implementation of high school biology practicum in Batang Regency
