Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) test the completes of learning the CPS approaching 4C with algebraic thinking skills, (2) test the differences in the algebraic thinking skills of students who are subjected to the CPS model with the 4C approach with the algebraic thinking abilities of students who are subjected to the PBL model, (3) examine the effect of disposition Mathematical towards students 'algebraic thinking skills, (4) knowing the description of students' algebraic thinking skills in terms of mathematical disposition. This research is a mix method research with sequential explanatory design. The population in this study were students of class XI MAS Simbang Kulon Buaran Kab. Pekalonan 2020/2021 school year. The sample in this study were 2 classes, namely class XI P1 as the experimental class which was given the CPS learning treatment with the 4C approach and class XI P2 as the control class which was given treatment with the PBL model. Subjects taking based on the high mathematical disposition category, medium mathematical disposition and low mathematical disposition. The results of the study show that (1) learning the CPS approaching 4C complete on students' algebraic thinking skills, (2) the algebraic thinking ability of students who are subjected to the CPS model CPS approaching 4C is better than the algebraic thinking abilities of students who are subjected to the PBL model, (3) there is an influence on mathematical disposition toward students' algebraic thinking skills, (4) students with high mathematical disposition categories are able to complete generational, transformational and global meta-level algebraic thinking skills, students with moderate mathematical disposition categories are able to complete generational and transformational algebraic thinking skills, students with disposition categories low mathematics is only able to solve the generational level algebraic thinking skills
