Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the quality of oral feedback mode in Problem Based Learning model on students' mathematical reasoning abilities and self regulated learning. This research uses a mixed method research. The population is X grade of SMA Negeri 8 Semarang. The sample selection used probability sampling technique with X MIPA 4 as the experimental class and X MIPA 5 as the control class. Based on the data analysis, it was found that learning with oral feedback mode in Problem Based Learning was of high quality towards mathematical reasoning and self regulated learning. This is evidenced by a valid planning instrument and a good learning implementation value. The average value of the final test of mathematical reasoning ability in the experimental class was 76.05 with the completeness of the proportion 88.5%. For the average score of self regulated learning is 76.81 with a completeness proportion of 82.85%. Mathematical reasoning abilities and self regulated learning in the experimental class are better than the control class. From the analysis obtained, it can be concluded that there is an effect of student self regulated learning on mathematical reasoning abilities in learning with oral feedback mode in the Problem Based Learning model. This is because the mathematical reasoning abilities and learning independence of students are categorized into high, medium, and low groups based on the results of the analysis are directly proportional
