Abstract

The learning model is the most extensive learning plan of learning practice illustrated from the beginning that is typically presented by educators to achieve the learning objectives. The creative and innovative learning design and adjusting the students’ characteristic can improve the learning quality of the 21st century. The purpose of the research is to analyze (1) the effectiveness of editorial text writing learning using the social inquiry of the 21st century model Based on the Akuntasi & Keuangan Lembaga and Tata Busana Specialization, (2) the effectiveness of editorial text writing learning using the Plural Partner of the 21st century model Based on the Akuntasi & Keuangan Lembaga and Tata Busana Specialization, (3) the differences in the effectiveness of editorial text writing learning using the social inquiry of the 21st century from Plural Partner of the 21st century model Based on the accounting and financial institution and in fashion program Specialization The type of the research is the quasi-experimental research. The research population is the twelfth grade students of vocational high school. The technique of data collecting used the skill test of writing editorial and non-test technique used questionnaire, observation and documentation. The data analysis used T-test and analysis of variance (Anova). The result of the study showed that (1) editorial text writing learning using the social inquiry of the 21st century based on vocational high school students’ specialization in accounting and financial institution and in fashion program is significantly effective, it evidenced by differences the result of average initial score (68,14) and final test (84,75), (2) editorial text writing learning using the Plural Partner of the 21st century model based on vocational high school students’ specialization in accounting and financial institution and in fashion program is significantly effective, it evidenced by differences the result of average initial score (69,21) and final test (80,10), (3) the differences in the effectiveness of editorial text writing learning between using the social inquiry of the 21st century from Plural Partner of the 21st century model based on vocational high xi school students’ specialization in accounting and financial institution and in fashion program seen from the average of the initial and final test in the social inquiry of the 21st century group; 16,61and the Plural Partner of the 21st century group; 10,89. The use of using the social inquiry of the 21st century is significantly effective than the Plural Partner of the 21st century in editorial text writing learning. In addition to the effect of the order in the learning model, internal and external factors contribute to the achievement of student learning outcomes
