Abstract

Literary learning materials are one of the important components used by teachers in learning activities. Good learning materials can help students achieve learning goals. Sources of literature learning materials tend to focus on reference books from the government. Even though there are still many literary learning materials that can be used, one is novel. The problems studied in this research are: the feasibility of the novel Satin Merah by Brahmanto Anindito and Rie Yanti as a literary learning material based on the feasibility assessment of BSNP and according to the reception of Indonesian students and teachers. This study aims to describe the feasibility of the novel Red Satin by Brahmanto Anindito and Rie Yanti as literature learning material in high school. This study uses a pragmatic approach with literary reception theory. The research is based on the feasibility of the BSNP and the responses of Indonesian language students and teachers in terms of content, language and presentation. Data collection techniques in the study were carried out by means of literature studies, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis technique used in this research is interactive analysis and then the feasibility level is calculated using the percentage descriptive technique, by means of the sum of the scores for each group and the percentage is calculated. The results of this study can be concluded that the feasibility of the Satin Merah novel in terms of content: supports the development of students to excel and love the nation's culture, does not conflict with Indonesian laws and SARA, has depth and creativity in terms of its story and builds reader character. In terms of language: the language used in the novel Satin Merah is communicative, in accordance with standard rules and terms, and according to the reader. In terms of presentation: as a whole pay attention to the intrinsic, creative and inspirational elements, and develop character and self-skills. For the feasibility level of the Red Satin novel according to the reception of Indonesian students and teachers, it is 84.8% and 82.5%. This means that the novel Satin Merah by Brahmanto Anindito and Rie Yanti Eligible with a good title as a literature learning material in high school according to the feasibility assessment based on BSNP. In this study only analyzed the feasibility of literary learning materials. The need for a deeper study regarding learning outcomes using literary learning materials, especially the detective novel Satin Merah
