Abstract

This study discusses the Implementation of Social Value Cultivation in Building the Character of Grade V Students of Primary Schools Through Social Studies Learning. The purpose of this study is 1) Knowing how the implementation of social value inculcation in social studies learning in fifth grade elementary school. 2) Determine the inhibiting factors and solutions experienced by teachers in instilling social values in social studies learning in fifth grade elementary schools. 3) Knowing the results of the implementation of social value inculcation in building the character of 5th grade students of elementary schools through social studies This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results are (1) the implementation of social studies of teacher related social attitudes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jekulo and SD Negeri 6 Terban are good. (2) Obstacles in terms of honesty of students who are still not honest in working on the problems. The teacher tries to advise that students must believe in themselves. (3) The teacher appears to have succeeded in instilling the value of social attitudes in accordance with the indicators that the researchers have described.
