Abstract
Students’ low ability of mathematics literacy skills is due to the lack of students' ability to solve mathematical problems related to the real world. The learning process is still less related to daily life, therefore one of the related learning models is CTL. The objectives of this study are to analyze the quality of the CTL learning model with the PMRI approach to improve the mathematics literacy skills of fifth�grade elementary school students and to describe the mathematical literacy skills of elementary school students. This type of research was a mixed-method for analyzing quantitative data to test the quality of the CTL learning model with the PMRI approach and qualitative data to describe mathematical literacy skills. It was conducted at Panggung Kidul 01 State Elementary School consisting of 32 students as the experimental class and 33 students at Panggung Kidul 02 State Elementary School as the control class. The results show that the CTL learning model with the PMRI approach, it is good to achieve classical learning completeness and the average mathematical literacy skills of students are higher than the expository model. It is proven from the classical completeness results
