Abstract

Individuals with risky sexual behavior in society are subjects who have psychological problems. These psychological problems arise because individuals who have risky sexual behavior are experiencing psychological problems. One of the assistance services for this subject is called a counseling service with a neo-esoteric dimension of modern Sufism approach. The objectives of this study were: (1) to describe students with risky sexual behavior, (2) to describe the values of Sufism in counseling, (3) to describe the impact and barriers to applying Sufism in counseling on students with sexual behavior risky. This study used a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach to describe the values of modern neo-esoteric Sufism in counseling students with risky sexual behavior. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique of this research refers to the modification of the phenomenological analysis technique from Van Kaam from Moustakas. The counseling method of modern Sufism in the neo-esoteric type for risky sex offenders was carried out on three respondents. The results of the study: (1) the reasons for the individual having risky sex: being influenced by the association with friends, being exposed to pornography seeing pornographic films, being exposed to the understanding of free sex. The subjects were adolescents, aged between 22-24 years and the level of the subject's religiosity was low; (2) the Sufism values in counseling is a concept of counseling services with a science that is required to be more humanistic, empirical and functional (appreciation of Islamic teachings). This counseling discusses and discusses how to build the morale of the people. The Sufism counseling begins with a futuwwah framework by applying the ascetic attitude towards the world of macrocosm and microcosm (human). The stages: (a) takhalli (cleansing the heart from reprehensible traits). (b) tahalli (adorn oneself with praiseworthy qualities) (c) the tajalli stage, after these two stages on the basis of esoteric cultivation, a person will be able to organize himself in a social life well; (3) The impact of the neo-esoteric type of modern Sufism counseling in the case of risky sexual behavior, the subject has a desire for a healthy spirit, a desire to have good qualities, and a healthy spirit with commendable characteristics. The obstacle is that the behavior of healthier individuals does not last long, so the counseling must be repeated
