This research approach is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected by interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of this study include: (1) The role of school principals as educators, managers, administrators, supervisors, leaders, innovators, and motivators used in order to improve the quality of education at SD Islam Ta'allumul Huda Bumiayu has been carried out well. From those seven roles, the role of the principal as an innovator is the highest role in school quality. All of this can be seen from the various school innovations in creating and activating various school programs or activities when all activities were vacuumed and were less able to compete with the elementary schools in their environment.
