Abstract

The 4.0 Industrial revolution is causing the rapid development of technology and information in various fields and industries, including the financial industry characterized by the existence of financial technology or fintech The type of fintech service that has the highest usage rate is a digital wallet with a percentage of usage of 82.7%. The high level of digital wallet usage is not in line with the internet usage rate for financial transactions of 0.1%. This research aims to determine the factors that affect the intention and behavior of the use of digital wallets in undergraduated students of UNNES using modification of UTAUT 2. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population of this research is the S1 UNNES student of digital wallets whose numbers are not known for certain. The sample number of 155 students was calculated using the Hair et al formula. Sampling techniques use incidental sampling techniques. Data collection method with questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis, and SEM-PLS. The results of the descriptive variable behavioral intention, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, and price value are high category entry, but the social influence, habit, and trust status variables enter enough categories and use behavior in the very low category. The results of direct effect test showed that there was a positive and significant influence on performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, habit, and trust in behavioral inetention. There are no influence of effort expectancy, social influence, and price value on behavioral intention. There is no influence of facilitating conditions influence to use behavior. There are positive and significant influences of habit and behavioral intention to use behavior. The conclusion of the study showed that the expectancy performance, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, the habit, and trust have a significat positive effect to behavioral intention. There are no influence of effort expectancy, social influence, and price value to behavioral intention. There is no influence of facilitating conditions to use behavior. Habit and behavioral intention have significant positive effect on use behavior. The suggestion for this research es digital wallet providers should always improve their performance and service based on customer rating assessment and maximize social media in introducing digital wallets and can increase the intent of using digital wallet for users
