Abstract

This study aims to measure the willingness to pay value of users of long-distance public transportation services for buses and trains of the Semarang - Jakarta route to the additional facilities in the form of passing the Trans Java toll road and double railroad tracks and also to find out what factors influence willingness. to the pay. This study uses primary data with a total of 100 respondents conducted by accidental sampling. Willingness to pay can be estimated using the contingent valuation method approach. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression on E-views. Based on the analysis, the average value of willingness to pay per person for buses majoring Semarang - Jakarta is Rp. 246,300 for a total of Rp. 24,630,000.00. Factors that significantly influence willingness to pay are age, education, income and purpose of travel. Meanwhile, the average value of willingness to pay per person for trains from Semarang - Jakarta route is Rp. 286,460.00 with a total value of Rp. 28,646,000.00. Factors that are thought to significantly influence willingness to pay are age, education, travel intent income and number of dependents.
