Behavioral Intention to use of electronic money which is a new technology in the field of payment is still low, including among students who are educated. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived risk of behavioral intention to use electronic money with personal innovativeness as moderation. The population in this study were all active students of the Semarang State University 2016 Force totaling 6,329 students, and the research sample of 376 students. The sampling technique is proportional random sampling. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The analytical method used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the SmartPLS 3.2 analysis tool. Descriptive statistical results show behavioral intention to use electronic money, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and personal innovativeness are in the high category, risk perception in the sufficient category. There are four hypotheses rejected and three hypotheses accepted from a total of seven hypotheses. Perception usefulness, perceived ease of use and personal innovativeness have a significant effect on behavioral intention to use electronic money, respectively at 55.6%, 31.75% and 12%. While, the personal innovativeness variable does not moderate the perceived of usefulness, perceived ease to use and, perceived risk perception of behavioral intention to use electronic money. Conclusions of the study that personal innovation as moderation does not affect the interest in using electronic money. Exogenous variables of perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use affect interest in using electronic money except exogenous variables of risk perception. The advice given is that students should increase literacy in the use of electronic money, upgrade and study features available in the application of electronic money, and introduce electronic money to fellow students as a form of personal innovativeness application owned by respondents.
