Investment is an important factor that influences the growth and economic development of a country. We as a young generation have an important role to play a part in increasing the growth and economic development of our country towards a better direction, one of which is by participating in the success of government programs in terms of increasing the number of new investors among the younger generation, especially students. This study aims to analyze the effect of investment knowledge, individual income, return, and risk on student investment interests in the city of Semarang. The population in this study were active undergraduate students (S1) at the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Economics and Business at universities in the city of Semarang that already had the Indonesia Stock Exchange Investment Gallery (GI BEI) totaling 33,072 students. The technique used in this research is convenience sampling. Convenience sampling or accidental (insendental) sampling. Samples obtained by 100 respondents. The data collection method uses a questionnaire or questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis, multiple regression analysis. The results showed that investment knowledge had a positive effect on student investment interest of 8.23%, individual income had a positive effect on investment interest of 7.62%, return and risk also had a positive effect on investment interest of 5.80% and 5.29 %. Collectively, investment konwledge, individual income, return and risk influence student investment interest by 65,7% and the remaining 34,3% is influenced by other factors. Based on the result of Adjus R Square of 65,7%. For the next researcher, it is suggested to ause other variabels that have not been used in this research or add other variabels such as financial literacy.
