Abstract
The number of natural disasters in Yogyakarta from 2010-2019 was 309 with the biggest disaster was the eruption of Merapi Mount in 2010 which caused 1,705 injured, 332 people died, and 4,874 had psychological disorders. The purpose of this research is to study the implementation of the Destana (Resilient Disaster Village) program as a community-based management effort in the Disaster-Prone Areas III in Glagaharjo Village which has been held on February-March 2020. This type of research is descriptive research through cross sectional approach. The instruments used were checklist sheets and interview guides. The validity test of the data using source triangulation. Data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results show the fact that the implementation of Destana component in Glagaharjo Village are infrastructure (AS=33.3%; ATS=66.7%), rescue and evacuation (AS=100%), management information system (AS=100%), supervision (AS=100%), planning (AS=100%), institutional (AS=80%; ATS=20%), competence (AS=100%), capacity building (AS=85.7%; ATS=14,3%) and the implementation of disaster management (AS=50%; ATS=16.7%; TA=33.3%). Total recapitulation of Destana indicators are (AS=80%; ATS=14.3%; TA=5.7%). The conclusion from this study is that Glagaharjo Village is resilient enough to face the Mount Merapi disaster while 80% of the indicators of Destana have been implemented
