Abstract

Many accidents occur in children so that safety education was very important to be implemented. Child safety education was carried out through various means, for example the implementation of safety grievance mechanism in schools. The purpose of this study was to construct a safety grievance mechanism model at SD X as an effort to improve the implementation of child safety education. The design of this study was Participatory Action Research (PAR) with snowball sampling technique. The number of samples was 25 key informants. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire (google form) and interviews. The construction of the safety grievance mechanism concept at SD X began with the preparation of the blueprint as a new safety system at SD X, which was carried out through 5 stages of construction namely construction of objectives, benefits, scope, actors and procedures. The construction of the safety grievance mechanism model produced at SD X consisted of 6 main objectives, 2 main benefits, 7 work scopes, 8 main actors, and 2 main procedures.
