Abstract

Big problem for teachers, if in the process learning activities there is academic cheating behavior, such as cheating and palgiarism. It could clearly be detrimental to either himself or to the others. This research aims to find out how the influence of academic pressure, cheating opportunities, rationale for academic cheating, and learning motivation towards students cheating behavior of class XI OTKP in SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga. The method of analysis used a multiple linear regression method with saturated sample techniques and the sample of this reserarch was 104 respondents of students class XI OTKP in SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga. Data collection used methods of observation, interviews and questionnaire. This research is a quantitative type of research. The results showed that partially the t test of academic pressure variable obtained a significance of 0.001 so that H1 was accepted. Fraud Opportunity variable obtained significance 0.044 so that H2 was accepted. Fraud Rationalization variable obtained significance 0.036 so that H3 was accepted. Leraning motivation variable obtained significance 0.046 so that H4 was accepted. The F test showed that the significance 0.000 so that H5 was accepted, the coefficient of determination (R2) between academic pressure, fraud oppoertunity, fraud rationalization and leraning motivation on academic cheating behavior of class XI OTKP in SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga was 69.1%. The results of this study that there is an influence of academic pressure of 10.24%, an opportunity for academic cheating by 4.04%, rationalization of academic cheating by 4.37%, motivation to learn by 3.96%. The conclusion of this research, there were positive effect either partially or simultaneously between academic pressure, fraud oppoertunity, fraud rationalization and leraning motivation on students academic cheating behavior. The suggestion of this research is the academic pressure variable based on the results of the descriptive analysis of the percentage shows that the academic demand indicator has the highest percentage value, therefore the researcher gives advice to students to determine learning priorities so that they can divide their time well so that they can be more mature in preparing for the exam and in doing tasks both inside and outside of school..
