Abstract

New admissions system at universities conducted through three channels, namely the selection, the National Selection Line State University (SNMPTN), Joint Selection Entrance State University (SBMPTN) and through the Independent Selection (SM). With the composition, 40%, for SNMPTN, 30% were accepted through the SBMPTN and 30% were accepted through the Independent Selection (SM). SNMPTN done by search interests and talents of students through their respective schools. They do not do a skill test directly, but through a video uploaded and sent college dituju.Sedangkan through SBMPTN students follow the written test were held simultaneously across the country colleges in Indonesia. They choosing departemen Sports obliged to follow the practice tests at college penyelenggara.Penerimaan country through self-selection of prospective students do a written test and a practical test administered by each college organizers. This research is a survey research, test and measurement techniques. The population was freshman university science faculty State pursuits Semarang.Sedangkan sample used was a freshman majoring in Sports Coaching Education, Faculty of Sport Science,Semarang State University. Result analyzed using quantitative descriptive. The conclusions of this study were 1) .They are that through SBMPTN have better physical proportions. 2). Participants who through SBMPTN have better skills. 3). There are a few students through the SNMPTN and Selection of independent physical proportions and skill enaough. Suggestions put forward are 1) admissions through the SNMPTN still subject to the test of skill. 2) Test admission SNMPTN should only track achievement by working with sports Stake holder. 3). The quota for the reception path SBMPTN need plus percentage.
