Abstract
Mangrove has ecological benefits for the prevention of erosion and improvementof environmental quality as indicated by increasing biodiversity. In addition to ecological functions, mangroves also have economic benefits. One of the benefits of mangrove is for the batik dyeing process. This community service activities were aimed to provide knowledge and training in the cultivation of mangroves as batik natural dye to the members of Camar dan Merah Delima and people in Tambakrejo to increase their revenue. The method used in the implementation of community service activities are counseling, training and providing supportin tools make a natural dye batik and batik tool. After getting sufficient theory and seeing the demonstration from the community service members, the training of producing batik natural dyes from mangroves commenced. It can be concluded that the community service participants have gained knowledge and skills on the making of natural dyes for batik made from mangrove. Participants of the community servicehad knowledge of making batik natural dye from mangrove in Tambakrejo, Village, Tanjung Mas Semarang
