Abstract

Kesulitan siswa dalam memahami berbagai istilah asing serta kurangnya gambaran nyata terkait materi menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa tidak tercapai secara maksimal. Permasalahan tersebut didukung oleh kondisi siswa yang berbeda-beda sehingga guru harus mencari sebuah model pembelajaran yang mampu mengkondisikan siswa dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan (1) pembelajaran kooperatif tipe SAVI berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap hasil belajar sejarah siswa pada kelas eksperimen, (2) hasil belajar sejarah siswa pada kelas kontrol yang tidak menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe SAVI, (3) hubungan antara pembelajaran kooperatif tipe SAVI dan hasil belajar sejarah siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMKN 1 Wonosobo pada semester ganjil Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Populasi penelitian merupakan seluruh siswa kelas X SMKN 1 Wonosobo dengan sampelnya kelas X TKJ 2 (kelas eksperimen), dan X PM 1 (kelas kontrol). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik nonprobabilitas, yaitu purposive sampling. Variabelnya yaitu hasil belajar siswa (variabel dependen) dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe SAVI (variabel independen). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes terstandar (standardized test) yang merupakan kategori tes prestasi atau achievement test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, diketahui bahwa rata-rata hasil pretest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 31,875 dan 32,88. Hasil posttest kelas eksperimen setelah diberi perlakuan melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, and Intellectually (SAVI) memiliki rata-rata sebesar 79,875 dengan persentase ketuntasan siswa klasikal sebesar 81,25%. Hasil posttest kelas kontrol yang tidak diberi perlakuan memiliki rata-rata sebesar 70,13 dengan persentase ketuntasan siswa klasikal hanya sebesar 34,375%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebelum dan sesudah diberikannya perlakuan. Perbedaan tersebut juga membuktikan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe SAVI berpengaruh secara positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. == Student difficulties in understanding the various foreign terms and the lack of a real explaining regarding the material causes the student learning outcomes are not optimal. Those problems fueled by the different condition of students so that teachers have to find a learning model that is appropriate with it.This research aims to describes (1) the cooperative learning type SAVI direct impact on students history learning outcomes in the experimental class, (2) the students history learning outcomes in the control class that does not apply cooperative learning type SAVI, (3) the relation between the cooperative learning type SAVI and history students learning outcomes. Experimental method is used in this research with nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Wonosobo in the first semester of the 2016/ 2017 Academic Year. This research population was all students of X class SMKN 1 Wonosobo, and the sample were X class of TKJ 2 (experimental group), and X class of PM 1 (control group). Nonprobability sampling technique is used, that is purposive sampling. Variables in this research are students learning outcomes (dependent variable) and cooperative learning type SAVI (independent variable). Standardized test is used to collect the research data. It is the category of achievement test. Based on the research that has been carried out, it is known that the average of pretest results of experimental class and control class are 31.875 and 32.88. Posttest result of experimental class after being treated through the implementation of cooperative learning Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, and Intellectually (SAVI) has an average of 79.875 with 81.25% percentage of students classical completeness. Posttest results of control class without treatment has an average of 70.13 with only 34.375% percentage of students classical completeness. This proves that there are significant differences between the history students learning outcomes of experimental class and control class before and after treatment. That difference also proved that the application of cooperative learning type SAVI has positive effect on history students learning outcomes.
