Abstract

Kompetensi guru berbicara tentang pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap yang harus dimiliki seorang tenaga pengajar. Kompetensi guru dapat diukur dari hasil Uji Kompetensi Guru (UKG) yang apabila hanya dilihat dari satu kompetensi saja, masih banyak guru yang nilainya belum mencapai standar kompetensi minimal (SKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan, pengalaman mengajar, dan sikap profesional guru terhadap kompetensi guru ekonomi SMA se-Kota Tegal. Populasi penelitian ini meliputi seluruh guru ekonomi SMA se-Kota Tegal yang mengikuti UKG (Uji Kompetensi Guru). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Pengujian instrumen dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Metode analisis data dalam peneltian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan, pengalaman mengajar, dan sikap profesional guru berpengaruh (69,8%) terhadap kompetensi guru ekonomi. Secara parsial, pendidikan dan pelatihan berpengaruh (28,41%) terhadap kompetensi guru ekonomi, pengalaman mengajar berpengaruh (15,29%) terhadap kompetensi guru ekonomi, dan sikap profesional guru berpengaruh (26,94) terhadap kompetensi guru ekonomi. Berdasarkan simpulan penelitian, pendidikan dan pelatihan, pengalaman mengajar, dan sikap profesional guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi guru ekonomi. Secara parsial pendidikan dan pelatihan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi guru ekonomi, pengalaman mengajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi guru ekonomi, dan sikap profesional guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi guru ekonomi. Guru ekonomi disarankan untuk terus meningkatkan kompetensinya untuk mencapai nilai UKG yang baik dengan mengikuti berbagai kegiatan diklat, memperbanyak pengalaman mengajarnya, dan memiliki sikap profesional yang baik. Teacher competence talks about the knowledge, skills, and attitudes a teachers should have. Teacher competence can be measure from the result of Teacher Competency Test (UKG) which if only seen from one competency, there are still many teachers that has not reached the minimum poin of competency standard (SKM). This study aims to determine the effect of education and training, teaching experience, and professional attitude of teachers to the competence of high school economics teacher of Kota Tegal. The population of this study includes all high school economics teachers in Kota Tegal who follow the Teacher Competency Test (UKG). Accumulation data method is using questionnaire. Instrument tested by using validity test and reliability test. Methods of data analysis in this research is descriptive analysis and regression analysis. The result of the research proved that the education and training, teaching experience, and professional attitude of teachers (69.8%) on the competence of economics teacher. Partially, the education and training (28,41%) on the competence of economics teacher, teaching skill (15,29%) to the competence of economics teacher, and teacher professional attitude (26,94) to the competence of economics teacher. Based on the conclusion of the study, the education and training, teaching experience, and professional attitude of teachers have a positive and significant impact on the competence of economics teacher. Partially significant and significant inclusion of education and training on the competence of economics teacher, teaching experience have significant influence on the competence of economics teacher, and teacher’s professional attitudes have significant influence to the competence of economics teacher. Economics teachers are encouraged to continuously improve their competence to achieve good UKG scores by attending various training activities, increase their teaching experience, and having a good professional attitude.
