Abstract

Kecurangan akademik menjelaskan tentang perbuatan tidak jujur yang dilakukan oleh seseorang untuk mendapatkan nilai yang baik dengan cara yang melanggar peraturan. Pengaruh kecurangan akademik siswa dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu tekanan akademik, kesempatan, rasionalisasi, kemampuan individu berbuat kecurangan dan prokrastinasi akademik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dimensi fraud diamond dan prokrastinasi akademik terhadap kecurangan akademik siswa kompetensi keahlian akuntansi kelas X dan XI di SMK Negeri 2 Tegal Tahun 2016/2017. Metode penelitian menggunakan populasi siswa kompetensi keahlian akuntansi kelas X dan XI di SMK Negeri 2 Tegal Tahun 2016/2017 berjumlah 191 siswa. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 150 siswa dihitung dengan tabel Isaac dan Michael. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu proportionate stratified random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel tekanan akademik dan rasionalisasi memiliki rata-rata yang cukup tinggi dibandingkan dengan variabel kesempatan, kemampuan individu berbuat kecurangan, dan prokrastinasi akademik. Tekanan akademik, kesempatan, rasionalisasi, kemampuan individu berbuat kecurangan dan prokrastinasi akademik berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kecurangan akademik. Pengaruh secara parsial juga didapatkan pada tiap variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Pada tekanan akademik, kesempatan, rasionalisasi, kemampuan individu berbuat kecurangan, dan prokrastinasi akademik berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap kecurangan akademik. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa tekanan akademik, kesempatan, rasionalisasi, kemampuan individu berbuat kecurangan dan prokrastinasi akademik berpengaruh terhadap kecurangan akademik siswa kompetensi keahlian akuntansi kelas X dan XI di SMK Negeri 2 Tegal Tahun 2016/2017. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah diharapkan siswa lebih mampu mengurangi perilaku kecurangan akademik dengan cara tekun belajar. Academic cheating describes the dishonest acts committed by a person to get good grades in a way that violates the rules. The influence of student academic cheating is influenced by academic pressure, opportunity, rationalization, the capability of individual to cheat and academic procrastination. This study aimed to determine the influence of academic pressure, opportunity, rationalization, the capability of individual to cheat and academic procrastination toward Academic Fraud in Accounting Students Class X and XI in SMK Negeri 2 Tegal Year 2016/2017. The research method used student population of majoring in accounting class X and XI in SMK Negeri 2 Tegal Year 2016/2017. The population of this study were 191 students. The number of samples in this research were 150 students calculated using the Isaac and Michael Table. The sampling technique used is proportionate stratified random sampling. Questionnaire was used as the data collection technique. The data then analyzed by descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the academic pressure and rationalization has an average high enough compared to opportunity, the capability of individual to cheat, and academic procrastination. The academic pressure, opportunity, rationalization, the capability of individual to cheat and academic procrastination simultaneously influenced the academic fraud. The partial influence was also obtained in each independent variable towards dependent variable. In details, the academic pressure, opportunity, rationalization, the capability of individual to cheat and academic procrastination partially influenced toward academic fraud. Therefore, this research concludes that the academic pressure, opportunity, rationalization, the capability of individual to cheat and academic procrastination have some influences on the academic fraud of the Accounting students class X and XI in SMK Negeri 2 Tegal Year 2016/2017. Researcher suggests that the students are expected to reduce their academic fraud behaviors by studying diligently.
