Abstract

French is one of the foreign languages in high school. Teachers should have their own method in order to keep student motivation to learn French. One of those methods is using a media. The objective of this study was to produce a french speaking media by using adobe flash on high school class of Xi students. This research used a Research and Development (R & D) method. There are ten steps of the research, but, this research used five steps, that are formulating potential and problems, collecting the data, making product design, validating product design and design revision. The result of this research is a media based of adobe flash application for speaking skill with the theme la vie quotidienne. The media includes five case indicators media that conforms to the syllabus, which are names (nom / les membres de famille), describing favorites (Exprimer le gout et préferences), giving and asking opinions (Donner et demander opinions), pronominal verbs (verbe pronominal), professions (les profession). Researchers have made 10 title dialog in the media .Then, in the last step, that media is consulted to French expert to revise. After doing revision according to expert’s suggestions, this media is being validated by the expert and can be used by teachers in class. The efectiveness of this media is unknown. Therefore should be there is a further research to know the efectiveness of this media.
