Abstract

French learning in the French Education Program in UNNES contains four language competencies. The mastery of the four language skills is inseparable from the ability of the grammar and vocabulary. Writing a sentence requires an idea, vocabulary, and grammar. Grammar is an important aspect in language because grammar have an important role in the structure of a sentence. A person’s success in the learning of a foreign language, especially French, should be supported by the mastery of the grammar and vocabulary of the language he learns. The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is an influence between the achievements of Pratique de la Grammaire Élémentaire and the achievements of the Production Écrite Élémentaire of the students of the second semester. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative. There is 33 students as a sample in this research. Documentation method is used to collect the data. After the data is collected, it is analysed with simple linear regression analysis formula. From the result of the calculation, the coefficient determination is 43, 29%. It can be concluded that the magnitude of the influence of the achievement of Pratique de la Grammaire Élémentaire with the achievement of Production Écrite Élémentaire is 43, 29%. The percentage indicates that students whom have a good grammar ability will influence the score in the Production Écrite Élémentaire course. Pembelajaran bahasa Prancis pada program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Perancis UNNES memuat empat kompetensi berbahasa. Pada dasarnya penguasaan keempat keterampilan berbahasa tidak dapat dilepaskan dari kemampuan tata bahasa dan kosakata. Menulis suatu kalimat dibutuhkan suatu ide, kosa kata, dan tata bahasa. Tata bahasa merupakan suatu komponen terpenting yang terdapat dalam bahasa karena tata bahasa memegang peranan penting dalam keutuhan suatu kalimat. Keberhasilan seseorang dalam mempelajari suatu bahasa asing terutama bahasa Perancis harus didukung oleh penguasaan tata bahasa dan kosakata yang sedang dipelajarinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh antara prestasi Pratique de la Grammaire Élémentaire dengan dengan prestasi Production Écrite Élémentaire mahasiswa semester 2. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus analisis regresi linear sederhana. Dari hasil perhitungan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh koefisien determinasi sebesar 43,29%. Sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa besarnya pengaruh prestasi Pratique de la grammire elementaire dengan prestasi Production ecrite elementaire sebesar 43,29%. Persentase tersebut menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang memiliki kemampuan grammaire yang baik akan mempengaruhi nilai yang diperolehnya di mata kuliah PE.
