Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the conformity of material and test on textbook Echo A1 with standard of competence and basic competence in the 1st semester of class X which reviewed from three aspects: the completeness of material, the wideness and depth of material. This is qualitative descriptive research. The object of this study is the material and test on textbook Echo A1, especially lesson 0, 1, and 2. The data source in this study is the textbook Echo A1. The data collection method used is documentation. Data was analyzed according to the assessment instrument Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP), especially in terms of the conformity of material with standard of competence and basic competence, which in three aspects: the completeness of material, the wideness and depth of material. The result showed that the material and test contained in textbook Echo A1 was in conformity with standard of competence and basic competence in the 1st semester of class X, in the aspect of completeness of materials there was 98, 17% material appropriate and 1.82% inappropriate, in the aspect of the wideness of material contained 95, 73% material appropriate and 4.26% inappropriate, and the depth of material aspect there was 95 73% material appropriate and 4.26% inappropriate.
