Abstract

Gold is a kind of mineral that have high economic value , so that the identification of needs to be done.This research aims to identify the structure under surface of the zone gold mineralization with a method of magnetic The data was undertaken in regions with broad 400 m x 500 the number of points obtained the 86 point .The magnetic data using Protons Procession Magnetometer ( PPM ) . Data processing done with microsoft excel and surfer 10 obtained anomaly then the total magnetic field. The total a magnetic field anomaly obtained we do upward continuation and reduction to the pole uses software MagPick . To know the structure of the lower surface of the done data processing using software Mag2DC and then it would be an interpretation qualitative and quantitative . The results of interpretation qualitative show that the magnetic anomaly in the area research is -150 nT to 650 nT . Quantitative interpretation shows that there is a rock formations the Kumbang Formation. Kumbang Formation dominated by breccia volcano , limenstone rock, tuf andesite and conglomerate. Of rock with magnetic suseptibility 0.16 SI alleged to be rocks andesite. Of rock with suseptibility 0.041SI the expected breccia volcano. Mineral with the magnetic suseptibility 0.0015 SI the indicated Pyrites. Rocks in that it has value suseptibility magnetic -0.042 SI the alleged to be calcite. Rock allegedly is a mineral gold is Pyrites. Based on the results, it is known that mineral pyrites indicated be at the depth of 50 to 100 meters. Based on these result, can be concluded that zone gold mineralization allegedly associated with other minerals like pyrites indicated be at the depth of 50 to 100 meters and on the central research area.
