Abstract
Penggunaan modul dengan mengintegrasikan Problem Based Learning dapat menunjang pembelajaran dan menjadikan siswa lebih aktif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development yang betujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan modul Chemistry Is Adorable berbasis Problem Based Learning materi minyak bumi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4-D yang telah dimodifikasi. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan metode validasi, tes, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kelayakan, tanggapan siswa, tanggapan guru, dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penilaian kelayakan oleh pakar terhadap lembar kegiatan siswa memperoleh ratarata skor 3,78 dengan kriteria layak. Tanggapan siswa pada uji coba skala kecil memperoleh rata-rata skor 3,19 dengan kriteria baik. Keefektifan modul diperoleh dari data hasil belajar siswa dan tanggapan guru dan siswa pada uji coba skala besar. Diperoleh peningkatan hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif dengan rerata skor n-gain sebesar 0,69 dengan kriteria sedang. Hasil belajar aspek afektif dan psikomotorik siswa dengan kriteria baik. Hasil analisis tanggapan guru dan siswa pada uji coba skala besar memperoleh rata-rata skor masing-masing sebesar 3,67 dan 3,19. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa modul Chemistry Is Adorable berbasis Problem Based Learning materi minyak bumi dinyatakan layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran kimia. The use of modules to integrate Problem Based Learning can support learning and make students more active. This study is a Research and Development which aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of Chemistry module Is Adorable Problem Based Learning material based petroleum as a source of student learning. The research design used in this study is a model 4-D that has been modified. The data collection method used method validation, test, questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Data obtained in the form of data eligibility, student, teacher feedback, and student learning outcomes. The results showed that a feasibility assessment by experts of the student activity sheet to obtain an average score of 3.78 with a decent criteria. Student responses on a small scale trial gained an average score of 3.19 with both criteria. The effectiveness of the modules obtained from the data of student learning outcomes and responses of teachers and students on a large scale trial. Retrieved improving student learning outcomes with a mean cognitive scores n-gain of 0.69 with the criteria of being. Results affective and psychomotor aspects of learning of students with both criteria. Results of the analysis of the responses of teachers and students on a large scale trial gained an average score of respectively 3.67 and 3.19. Based on the results of the study concluded that the module-based Chemistry Is Adorable Problem Based Learning petroleum material as feasible and effectively applied in teaching chemistry.
