Abstract

The curriculum is important in the world of education . The curriculum used in education in Indonesia today is a new curriculum is the curriculum of 2013. Changes in 2013 the new curriculum , generate dissent from various parties . Differences of opinion occur because of many factors , both from the government as policy makers and policy implementers of teachers as . Socialization and training curriculum 2013 short make the most of the Japanese language teachers do not fully understand any changes in the curriculum , 2013. This is what is expected to be the cause of problems at the teacher 's readiness to implement the curriculum , 2013. Therefore , through this study will be known to the readiness of teachers Japanese high school in Semarang in implementing the curriculum of 2013. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference for the government in preparing the curriculum and teachers practice in the field . The approach used in this research is quantitative descriptive . In this study, the population studied is Japanese high school teacher in the city of Semarang as many as 18 respondents . Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire . Techniques of data analysis in this study uses descriptive percentages . Based on the discussion and interpretation of the data is known to the readiness of Japanese high school teacher in the city of Semarang in implementing the curriculum in 2013 by 58 % . In addition there are some things that are still an obstacle teachers in teaching , namely : 1 ) instructor training followed instead of Japanese experts , 2 ) lack of time in training , 3 ) have not fully understood the changes and goals in the curriculum in 2013 , 4 ) curriculum documents 2013 more theoretical , 5 ) learning syllabus is not available , 6 ) are not yet ready to make a creative learning media to be able to apply the concept of learning 5M , 7 ) are not yet ready to provide effective motivation to be able to make students become the subject of learning , 8 ) is not ready determine appropriate teaching methods to apply learning in accordance with the curriculum in 2013 , and 6 ) are not yet ready to apply a evaluation technique that is too much .
