Abstract

Akseptor drop out KB adalah akseptor yang menghentikan kontrasepsi lebih dari 3 bulan. Dampak yang ditumbulkan dari meningkatnya angka drop out KB ini adalah meningkatnya jumlah penduduk sehingga akan berdampak pada tingkat kesejahteraan, kualitas pendidikan, pembangunan, dan kesehatan sahingga akan menurunkan kualitas penduduk suatu negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian drop out akseptor KB Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan case control study dengan meneliti faktor risiko secara retrospektif. Sampel berjumlah 194 orang (97 kasus dan 97 kontrol). Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor yang berhubungan dengankejadian drop out akseptor KB Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang adalah dukungan pasangan(p =0,000). Sementara itu tidak ada hubungan antarafaktor umur (p= 0,135), pekerjaan (p = 0,867), tingkat pendidikan (p = 0,463), pengetahuan (p = 0,872), persepsi (p = 0,134), paritas/jumlah anak (p = 0,206), dan sosial budaya (p = 0,385). Saran yang diberikan adalah memberikan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya berKB dan lebih mengenalkan metode-metode kontrasepsi yang lebih luas karena banyaknya masyarakat yang hanya mengetahui beberapa metode saja. Family planningdrop out acceptors are those who stop their contraception program for more than 3 months. The impact of the increasing of this family planningdropout rate is the increasing of the number of people as well, which will have an impact on the level of prosperity, quality of education, development, and health that will degrade the quality of a country's population. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of drop out acceptors in Gunungpati District of Semarang. The method of this study was a case control study to investigate risk factors retrospectively. The sample was 194 persons (97 cases and 97 controls). The data was analyzed using chi square test. The results of this study showed that the factors related to the incidence of drop out acceptors in Gunungpati District of Semarang is spousal support (p = 0.000). While there is no correlation between the incidence of drop out acceptors and age (p = 0.135), occupation (p = 0.867), educational level (p = 0.463), knowledge (p = 0.872), perception (p = 0.134), parity/ number of children (p = 0.206), and sociocultural (p = 0.385). The advice given by the writer is to provide more information about the importance of family planning and to introduce more contraceptive methods widely because many people only know a few contraceptive methods only.
