Abstract

Bahaya lingkungan kerja baik bahaya fisik maupun bahaya kimia perlu dikendalikan sedemikian rupa sehingga tercipta suatu lingkungan kerja yang aman, sehat dan nyaman Terdapat berbagai cara untuk menanggulangi bahaya tersebut misalnya pengendalian secara teknik, pengendalian secara administratif dan alat pelindung diri (APD). Pekerja pabrik tahu Desa Kalibening setiap hari tidak memakai APD saat bekerja karena merasa tidak nyaman. Pekerja tidak memakai APD sepatu boot karena merasa berat, pekerja tidak menggunakan APD sarung tangan saat bekerja karena pada saat proses pembuatan tahu menggunakan air panas dan suhu lingkungan panas sehingga jika memakai sarung tangan akan terasa lembab dan tidak nyaman, pekerja juga tidak memakai celemek saat bekerja karena suhu di ruangan panas bahkan untuk pekerja laki-laki seringkali telanjang dada apabila kepanasan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang APD menggunakan media booklet dan ceramah tanpa media. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasy experiment. Rancangan penelitian Non-Equivalent Control yang terdiri dari 2 kelompok yaitu 1 intervensi dan 1 kontrol. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pekerja pabrik tahu yang berjumlah 38 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah booklet dan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji paired test sampel dan t-test tidak berpasangan. Hasil penelitian nilai mean kelompok eksperimen 78,42, dan kontrol 56,06.Setelah dilakukan uji-t dengan nilai t hitung 0,636 dan t tabel -2,101 pada taraf kebenaran = 0.05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis (Hi) diterima. Artinya booklet efektif dibandingkan ceramah tanpa media. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini booklet efektif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan tentang APD di pabrik tahu desa Kalibening Banjarnegara. Contain many ways to ward off that risk, such as controling according to technique, controling according to administration, and Self Protection Equipment. Factory workers tofu Kalibening village every day not to wear when working because they feel uncomfortable. Workers not wearing boots because heavy feeling, workers not using gloves when working PPE because during the process of making out using hot water and heat the ambient temperature so that when wearing gloves will feel humid and uncomfortable , workers also do not wear an apron while working because the temperature in the room was hot even for male workers often bare chest when. The purpose this study was to determine differences in the increase in knowledge about PPE use booklets and lecture media without the media . The kind of this research is quasy experiment.The design Non Equivalent control research consist of 2 intervension groups and one control group. The respondent in this research is the employee of tofu factory consist of 38 people. The instrumen that the writer used is Booklet and questionnaire The data analysis by using univariat and bivariat ( using experiment paried test sample and t-test without pair ) The results of the study the mean value of the experimental group 78.42, and 56.06 control. Having performed the t-test with t value 0.636 and -2.101 t table at the level of truth = 0:05. It can be concluded that the hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the hypothesis (Hi) is accepted. This means effective than lecture booklets without the media. The conclusion of this study booklets effectively to the increased knowledge of PPE in the factory knows Banjarnegara Kalibening village.
