Abstract

Pengomposan sampah organik rumah sakit merupakan metode daur ulang sampah organik rumah sakit yang dilakukan secara alamiah. Proses pengomposan dapat dilakukan dengan penambahan aktivator, seperti: Effective Microorganism4 (EM4). Parameter yang digunakan untuk menilai kualitas kompos adalah parameter fisik (warna, tekstur,bau, suhu, dan pH) maupun parameter kimia (C organik, N total, C/N ratio, P2O5, dan K2O). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian true experiment dengan desain penelitian posttest only control group design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah sampah organik yang dihasilkan oleh RSUD dr. R. Soetrasno Rembang. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel homogen dari sampah organik RSUD dr. R. Soetrasno Rembang. 10 kg. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua insrtumen. Yaitu uji laboratorium dan prosedur penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat (menggunakan uji wilcoxon dengan α= 0,05). Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan Effective Microorganism 4 (EM4) dan molase terhadap C/N ratio dengan p=0,012 (p<0,05), ada pengaruh penggunaan Effective Microorganism 4 (EM4) dan molase terhadap C organik dengan p=0,012 (p<0,05), ada pengaruh penggunaan Effective Microorganism 4 (EM4) dan molase terhadap N total dengan p=0,025(p<0,05), ada pengaruh penggunaan Effective Microorganism 4 (EM4) dan molase terhadap phosphat (P2O5) dengan p=0,028 (p<0,05), ada pengaruh penggunaan Effective Microorganism 4 (EM4) dan molase terhadap kalium (K2O) dengan p=0,012 (p<0,05), ada pengaruh penggunaan Effective Microorganism 4 (EM4) dan molase terhadap pH dengan p=0,011 (p<0,05), ada pengaruh yang lemah dan positif antara penggunaan Effective Microorganism 4 (EM4) dan molase terhadap suhu dengan p=0,012 (p< 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, saran yang dapat diberikan kepada instansi terkait dapat melakukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengolahan sampah organik khususnya pengomposan dan pengawasan dalam pengelolaan sampah organik. Composting of organic waste in hospital is an recycle method of organic waste hospital which was done naturally. The compostting process can be done with increase activator, example: effeftive microorganism 4(EM4). The parameters is used to appreciate compost quality is physic parameters (colour, smell, temperature, and pH) and chemical parameters (C organic, N total, C/N ratio, P2O5, and K2O). The type of research is true experiment research, with designs reseach posttest only control group design. The subject research organic waste which are resulted by General District Hospital dr. R. Soetrasno. Even though, the sample in this research is homogen organic waste from General District Hospital dr. R. Soetrasno Rembang. It is 10 kg. This research used two instruments. There are laboratory test and research procedure. The data analysis was done univariate and bivariate (using wilcoxon test with α=0,05). The result of this research is gotten that have influence between using effeftive microorganism 4 (EM4) and molase to the C/N ratio, with p=0,012 (p<0,05), there are influence and between using effeftive microorganism 4 (EM4) and molase to the C organic with p=0,012 (p<0,05), there are influence between using effeftive microorganism 4 (EM4) and molase to the N total with p=0,025 (p<0,05), there are influence and between using effeftive microorganism 4 (EM4) and molase to the P2O5 with p=0,028 (p<0,05) , there are between using effeftive microorganism 4 (EM4) and molase to the K2O with p=0,012 (p<0,05), there are influence between using effeftive microorganism 4 (EM4) and molase to the pH with p=0,11 (p<0,05), there are influence between using effeftive microorganism 4 (EM4) and molase to the pH with p=0,012 (p<0,05)in compostting organic waste of General District Hospital dr. R. Soetrasno Rembang The based on the result, the suggestion is given for the instance: they should make planning, implementation, and preparation of organic waste especially compostting and controlling in management organic waste.
