Abstract
This study analyzed the position of moral and religious value in hedonism over the society found in the setting. The object of the study is a lyric by Michael Learns To Rock entitled “Wild Woman”. The objectives of this final project are the following: to know the revealing of hedonism in Michael learns To Rock’s lyric “Wild Women”, to find out the moral and religius value in the society of the setting and to discuss the position of moral and religius value in the hedonism society. . This study uses a qualitative research. To collect the data I used five steps: listening to the song and finding out the lyric from the lyric sheet of Michael learns To Rock Album, reading the lyric, identifying the data, classifing the data and reporting. The last step was drawing conclusion to answer the questions. Finally, by studying and analyzing this lyric, I hope that this study can be a reference for those who are interested in analyzing the lyric with the similar theme. In addition, it can enhance our knowledge about relation between literature and sociology that can be found in films. Moreover, this final project can stimulate further research related to the relationship between literature and sociology.
