Abstract
Student, especially those who take course in junior high school are group of teens that is susceptible of primary dysmenorrhea. SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Semarang has female students from variant social economic background. Absolutely, it infulences their nutrition level and exercising frequency. Good physically student can prevent the primer dysmenorrhea. The purpose of this research is to know the corellation between nutrition status and exercising frequency with primary dysmenorrhea for adolescent girls (Study in class 3 SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Semarang of School Year 2011/2012). This research is an explanatory research through cross sectional approach. The research population is all of the third grade female adolescent of Muhammadiyah Junior High School 4 Semarang. Techniques of collecting data using purposive sampling and there are 43female students archieved as a result. Data analysis done by univariat and bivariat (using chi square with α= 0,05). As the result, 4,65 % respondents has less nutrition level, 81,40 % are normally, 9,30 % are fat, and 4,65 % obesity. Respondents exercise rarely 60,64 %, normally excercise is 11,62 % , and the rest 27,92 %. From Kolmogorov Smirnov result ,there are no correlations between nutrition level with primer dysmenorrhea (p value= 0,991) and there are correlations between exercise frequency with primer dysmenorrhea (p value=0,022). The conclutions of this study is there are no correlations between nutrition status with primary dysmenorrhea and there’s has correlations between nutrition status with primary dysmenorrhea in class 3 SMP Muhammadiyah Semarang School Year 2011/2012. The suggestion for women is do excercise active. For school need give some science about reproduction health as a fondation for women to adult-age. For researcher, they should conduct a further research on dysmenorrhea with different population and there are need research that correlation with different variable.
