Ahmad Sofwan, Ph.D. Key Words: E-Learning, Students’ learning motivation This study discussed about the correlation between the use of e-learning and the students’ learning motivation. E-learning was one of the popular media that was used in teaching and learning process. As a media, e-learning had much more advantages than the other teaching and learning media. Beside media, motivation also needed to reach the goal of teaching and learning process. The problem of this study was how the correlation between the use of e-learning and the students’ learning motivation. The objective of the study was to investigate the correlation between the use of e-learning and the students’ learning motivation. The method used in this study was quantitative study. Observation and questionnaire were used to collect the information and data needed in this study. English Department students of Semarang State University was chosen as the subject of the study. The result of this study showed that there was a correlation between the use of e-learning and the students’ learning motivation. If e-learning was used effectively then the students’ learning motivation increased. This could be seen in the data analysis result. The correlation analysis stated that each one percent alteration of the use of e-learning will be followed by the increasing of 0.552 percent of students’ learning motivation. Significantly, it was obtained p value = 0.000 < 0.05 after tested with t test which meant that there was a correlation between the use of e-learning and the students’ learning motivation In line with the result of the reserch, it is suggested to the lecturers to use e-learning more often in teaching and learning process since it had many advantages and could increase the students’ learning motivation.
