To reach those objectives the writer was concerned with library research as the method of investigation. In this case, the writer used the movie V for Vendetta by Wachowski Brothers as the primary data, and some reference books dealing with the subject as the secondary ones. The results of the study show that there are three main elements of people power; they are freedom, justice, and human rights. The disturbance of these elements caused people power to rise, along with the suffering of people and the cruelty of dictatorship and authoritarian regime. People power itself can be succeeded in a typology of low capacity-hybrid regime, and also inclined slow in taking decision. It cannot be done in an authoritative regime with repressive capability, which can break people power. It is expected that this study could be useful for further research on people power and broaden the knowledge of the English Department’s students on literary works.
